On Friday we discussed the use of our Weebly as an electronic portfolio and began to upload our First Person Narrative Writing piece to our websites! To help us write a quick blurb to describe what we are uploading I used the pre-blogging sheet to the right where they think about purpose and audience when selecting what to add to their Weebly. |
We have our wonderful Weebly sites that I would like to incorporate more into our routines at school and at home. I envision Weebly as being a tool to communicate and celebrate our learning with the outside world along with expressing who we are as a learner. Our current focus is writing meaningful blurbs to accompany our uploaded work that shares both the struggles and triumphs of our hard work.
Moving forward, I hope to provide more time and support for the class to upload more work! In the meantime, carving out time to polish up and edit our Weebly's at home would be a great way to make sure it is ready for the outside world. We also have a daily journaling activity that I would love to incorporate into a weekly blogging reflection focusing on what we have learned and how we are growing throughout the year but that right now will take the back burner as we become expert up-loaders.
So get out there and check out our ePortfolios, leave some comments, and share in our learning and successes this year!
