We are learning how to collect the data through a survey and then make pretty charts to discover patterns and insights. Every morning when we arrive in class we take a three question survey, see the results below.

Create A Survey Using Google Forms
Step by Step
Resources
Go to Google Drive (you may be prompted to login to your Google account)
Click New -> Google Forms

- Create a survey using Google Forms (google help)
Go to Google Drive (you may be prompted to login to your Google account)
Click New -> Google Forms
Name the survey and add a description.
Create a question:
- Question Title: Add the text for the question.
- Question Type: Select the type of question, this example uses Multiple Choice. Provide the answer options.
- Check “Required question” if you want to make sure people filling out the survey MUST answer it before they can complete the survey.
- Click Done.
To add a background image click Change theme.
On the right side of the page you will see theme options. Pick one by clicking it.
Click View live form to preview the survey
Admire your work!
Click Send form
In the Send form window you have a few options:
- Link to Share: copy it so you can send out the link through your email.
- Embed: provides you with the HTML code so you can embed the survey on another webpage.
- Send form via email: send the survey to specific people immediately.
